6th Mata Joginder Kour Memorial Badminton Tournament concluded

JAMMU, Jan 13: A week long Mata Joginder Kour Memorial Tournament (2022-23) concluded on 12th Jan on the eve of National Youth Day with slogan Viksit Youth Viksit Bharat at Shere-Kashmir University of Agricultural Scince & Technology Chhatha, Jammu in sweet memory of Mata Joginder Kour ji. S. Harvinder Singh, IAS Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu and SSP S. Randheer Singh were the Chief Guests. The sole motive of this tournament was to channelize the youth energy through the medium of sports. S. Harvinder Singh, IAS and SSP Randheer Singh lauded the initiatives of the MATA JOGINDER KOUR MEMORIAL TRUST for taking lead to build a healthy society and also wishes to this trust for a glorious future and extend whole hearted support for future endeavour for any noble cause.
The guest of honours who were present were Dr. Ashwani Jojra, Social Activist & National Awardee, Principal Sunita Chadha, Vice Principal Ranjana Gupta and Registrar SKUAST Dr. SK Gupta. Prizes were also distributed amongst the winners and runners up under 5 different categories of events in which more than 100 participants took part. Among other dignitaries present were Prof Dr. Ravinder Singh, Prof Dr. Subash, Prof Dr Veena Gupta and Sarpanch S. Avtar Singh and PRI members.
Key note was addressed by Dr. Sukhbir Singh, Gen. Secy. MJKMT whereas vote of thanks was presented by President Trust S. Amarjit Singh Chairman Trust S. Harbans Singh (Retd. H.M.) also showered their blessings on the participants. Tournament officials were S. Daljeet Singh Bhatia, Desh Kumar Sharma and Sandeep Raina. The Overall tournament is supervised under the ablre guidance of Dushyant Sharma, convenor tournament organizing committee.
