Apni Party-Peoples Conference war of words heats up
1/14/2023 11:31:59 PM

Early Times Report

Srinagar, Jan 14: With the senior leaders of the Peoples Conference and the Apni Party showering choicest abuses on each other, the war of words between the two parties has only heated up in Kashmir.
After a series of veiled attacks on each other, a senior leader of the Apni Party has called his counterpart from the Peoples Conference “Rabid” who may “grow a tail.”
The other party, on the other hand, said “Khakkur Diya” or dragged him. The Peoples Conference leader added that his rival from the Apni Party was a drunkard and that he was not in his senses while talking.
Interestingly the two groups were previously from the same Peoples Conference till one of them switched over to the Apni Party.
The Peoples Conference party leader told the media persons that his rival from the Apni Party would join the Democratic Azad Party led by Ghulam Nabi Azad soon as he “is habitual of changing parties for personal interests.”
The two parties have been abusing each other on the social media in particular whereas the remarks of calling the political opponent “a rabid”, who may “grow a tail” were also posted on the social media.
Interestingly, it’s for the first time in the last so many years that the Peoples Conference leader has been facing such language on the media and the social media platforms.
The verbal brawl between the two parties is mainly for the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir as the two parties have common stakes in some areas.
Meanwhile the Apni Party has intensified its attack on the National Conference with the AP leadership saying that they would expose the NC leaders.
The Apni Party leadership has been saying that they would expose the NC leaders using a big TV screen to show some videos about the same.
Despite repeated attempts the spokespersons of the two parties couldn’t be contacted for comments.
