Kabir Sabha holds meeting; President for Jammu elected

Jammu, Jan 15: A meeting of JK-UT, General body of All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha comprising Distt President/Block President and other prominent personalities of the Sabha was held on 15.01.2023 at Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara, Bishnah. Agenda of the meeting was to elect new Distt President for Jammu.
Manohar Lal (Inspector JKP RETD) was unanimously elected as President Distt Jammu. He was welcomed by the Sabha including all the Kabir Mandir Committees. President of the Sabha Sh. F.C Bhagat congratulated him for the new assignment and the responsibility of the Sabha. The President of the Sabha also greeted the members and put forth the agenda for deliberations with regard to the upcoming elections of the Central Body including State President and Gen Secretary. He appealed the general public to actively participate in the upcoming elections and said that any person who is willing to own this responsibility should come forward and contest the elections. The general body of the Sabha unanimously decided that HQ of the Sabha should be at Old Kabir Mandir Bishnah as per the past. Sh. G.R Bhagat, Vice President of the Sabha gave the vote of thanks and also congratulated the newly elected Distt President.
Prominent personalities of the sabha who attended & gave their view points on the occasion were all Distt President’s, all President’s/Block President’s/Mandir Committee Chairmans, Manhor Lal, General secretary, Buti Ram, Dr Gurdass Bhagat, Yash Pal, Madan Lal, Sat Pal, Subhas Bhagat, Ashwani Kumar & ors.
