| MVD Rajouri, Traffic Deptt organises awareness program at Sunderbani | | |

RAJOURI, Jan 15: As a part of Road Safety Week activities, the Motor Vehicle Department today organised awareness programme in collaboration with the traffic police at NHW Sunderbani.
During the event, the drivers and vehicle owners were made aware about various Road Safety measures to be taken for safe driving on road. They were advised to wear crash helmets and seat belt while driving two Wheelers and Cars respectively.
Besides commercial vehicle drivers were also advised to avoid over speeding, racing and use of mobile phones while driving to avoid road accidents and save precious human lives.
Pamphlets on road safely were also displayed in vehicles and distributed among passengers and general public for disseminating the message of road safety among public.
The drivers were also urged to be mindful of duties and responsibilities while driving and were stressed to have self restraint in speed limits which is a way forward towards changing driving behaviours. |
