BJP harbinger of positive change in J&K: Rana
1/15/2023 11:39:55 PM
Early Times Report

SAMBA, Jan 15: Describing Bharatiya Janata Party as the harbinger of change in Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader Mr Devender Singh today said that the Union Territory is treading on the path of equitable development, peace and prosperity of all, irrespective of caste, creed, region and religion in true spirit of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cherished agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.
“A new growth story is being penned down under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister and J&K is confidently treading the path of progress and development”, Mr Rana said while addressing a daylong meeting of office bearers and prominent party workers of Samba constituency.
He said that this is the time to demonstrate how strongly the people feel about a strong India under the unimpeachable leadership of the Prime Minister.
Rana, said J&K is poised for the peoples’ government and the beginning of an era of opportunities for all. This will also herald the closure of entitlement to govern by a chosen few since decades. The people will be masters of their own destiny in real sense of term, not just an exploitative slogan of depriving them of their basic rights, he said, adding that being a beautiful vase of different flowers and having a glorious ethos of bonding between various communities, J&K has a right to grow and shine as Jewel in the Crown of India.
He said the Prime Minister has a vision for progressive and prosperous Naya Jammu and Kashmir and, therefore, it is incumbent upon all to come forward and strengthen his hands. Backing and supporting Mr Modi will be strengthening India and its glorious composite ethos.
He hoped that the people would shoulder their responsibility of strengthening the BJP for fulfillment of their urges and aspirations.
Rana dwelt in detail on the measures taken over the years for establishing peace, restoring normalcy and putting Jammu and Kashmir on the path of holistic development, saying abrogation of Article 370 has removed all the impediments in achieving this cherished objective. Like many others, he said he also had doubts about the repeal of the temporary provision of the Constitution of India but it happened because ‘Modi Hai Tu Mumkin Hai’.
With this revolutionary step, the dark spell of exploitation and discrimination has ended with renewed hope for the regions, including Jammu, to get its due share in governance and development, he said.
The Prabhari gave a clarion call to all the functionaries and Karykartas to intensify their outreach upto the last person for making the BJP a strong and vibrant force to take Jammu and Kashmir to the heights of progress and development. A strong government in this sensitive part of the country is imperative for taking on the monster of terror with iron fists, he added.
Rana expressed his gratitude to the leadership for reposing faith in him by giving the responsibility as Prabhari and said he will dedicate himself to fulfil all their expectations.
Earlier, Rana was given a rousing reception on reaching Samba. He was taken in an impressive rally by youth workers of the BJP led by Mr Reyaz Malik. He saluted the people of Samba for their valour and understanding of politics.
Rana started his day after paying obeisance at ancient Narsingh Dev Ji Temple at Ghagwal.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Kashmira Singh, District President, Samba, Amar Singh, Inderjeet Sharma Sangathan Mantri, Rashpal Verma, Balwan Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Co Convener, Sudershan Sathia, Vikas Sambyal, Ankush Mahajan, Mandal President Samba, Rajesh Upadhaya, Mandal President Ghagwal, Karan Singh Mandal President Nud, Balvinder Singh Mandal President Sumb, Brijpal Singh Mandal President Gurha Slathia, Sonia Thakur, Indu Wazir, Geeta Bhagat.
