| NC-Congress coalition | | Marriage of convenience: Khajuria | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 30- Chief of the state unit of the BJP, Ashok Khajuria, has described the alliance between the Congress and the National Conference as a "marriage of convenience and not conviction." Khajuria told newsmen here today that it was "an unholy alliance" between the two. He said that the Congress continued to be a temporizing political party. Explaining it he said that in 2002 it forged an alliance with the PDP and now with the National Conference. He said that it was irony of fate that that Omar Abdullah was tipped to be the Chief Minister of the state when on the floor of the Lok Sabha he had announced that he would not give an "inch of land" to the Amarnath Shrine Board. Khajuria said that picking up Omar Abdullah as Chief Minister was a great insult to the people of Jammu.
