Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 16: Border Security Force (BSF) Kashmir frontiers flagged off 28 students and a teacher of different schools of the valley for a six day education-cum-motivational Bharat Darshan Tour on Monday. Inspector General, BSF Kashmir Frontier Ashok Yadav flagged - off the contingent from Frontier Headquarter BSF, Humhama, Srinagar to Delhi by Air today, a spokesperson of the Force said. During the 6 days tour, this group will visit all the major tourist attractions in Delhi including Lal Qila, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Mughal Garden and India Gate. In Jaipur they are to visit the Amer Fort, Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jantar Mantar, City Place and Hawa Mahal spreading the message of love and peace from the valley and to enrich their mind by connecting with other rich historical and cultural aspects of our mighty country. As part of its efforts to engage with border communities and youth, BSF Kashmir has so far sent more than 1150 youth from remote areas of Kashmir Valley to various parts of the country through several Bharat Darshan Tours. During such tours, the groups are provided with free lodging, boarding, clothing and transportation. This is the second leg of the Bharat Darshan Tours 'Watan Ko Jano' of this year, BSF statement said. In 2023 total 105 students belonging to Kashmir Valley will participate in this unique programme led by BSF Kashmir Frontier. The Aim of these tours is to acquaint the youth with various cultures, customs and ethos of our country. These tours would help in motivating the youth to develop a broader perspective, improve their understanding and knowledge through observation and make them aware about the academic and professional opportunities available in other parts of the country. |
