| Jodhamal skaters win in Nationals at Bangalore | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 17: Karnataka Roller Skating Association (KRSA) in association with India Skate had organised 60th National Roller Skating Championship 2022 which was recently held at Bangalore. 31 Skaters of Jodhamal Public School participated in these nationals and represented Jammu & Kashmir team.
28 teams from various states and UTs participated in nationals. Total skaters were around 4500 and they participated in various categories, started from 05 years and the Senior category of 18 years and above. 149 skaters from Jammu and Kashmir were participated.
The Jodhamal skaters Tabish Haider clinched Silver in 1000 meter race and Ranveer Singh Shan clinched Bronze in 200 meter and 100 meter race. Dhruv Sadotra, Namish Gupta, Aahan Sharma and Gurjas Singh were represented J&K Team in roller skating and their team won the bronze medal after defeating Andhra Pradesh team by 2-1 in very hard fought match.
School Principal, Dr Deep Khare appreciated the students for their efforts and motivated the students to continue excelling in the same spirit. He also applauded the Skating coach Kamal Anand and Ritish Jamwal for their undeterred support and training to the student. |
