Early Times Report

JAMMU, Jan 17: Galvanizing the youths of every nook and corner of the region, the National Conference has emerged as the force to reckon with in the political arena of J&K.
This was stated by Provincial President NC Jammu Rattan Lal Gupta after endorsing the newly formed youth wing of the party for district Ramban. It is pertinent to mention that Ajaz Jan Provincial President NC Youth Wing Jammu has constituted a youth body of district Ramban at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan Jammu after the approval of Rattan Lal Gupta and recommendations of Sajjad Shaheen, District President JKNC Ramban.
The newly elected youth wing team included Mohd Nafees Mir as President YNC Ramban, Behari Lal Bushan and Kuldeep Kumar as Senior Vice Presidents, Mohd Musharaf Naik as District Secretary, Mohd Saqib, Farooq Ahmed Malik, Adv Asif Lone and Mujahid Ali as Vice Presidents, Salam Din, Bilal Ahmed Mir, Haroon Rashid, Mohd Salim, Shoket Ahmed Khan, Bashir Ahmed, Mohd Younas Malik, Riyaz Ahmed Lone, Farooq Ahmed Margrey and Nihar Ahmed Naik as Joint Secretaries and Jagjit Singh, District Coordinator.
Rattan Lal Gupta asked the newly formed youth wing for Ramban District to work with utter dedication to strengthen NC at ground level because the youths have got the seamless energy and they have the convincing power to educate masses about the prolific policies of NC as other parties especially BJP is misleading the people and using different sections of the people for satiating its vested political interests.
He said that youths can play a vital role in making NC more stronger and in shaping the future of J&K and providing succor to people who are facing troubles day in day out due to directionless policies of BJP Government which is experimenting on regular basis by playing with the lives of people.
Ajaz Jan said that only National Conference can bail out J&K from the current morass as targeted killings, draconian orders by the BJP government to harass people and prejudice with employees on every step has made the life of people akin to virtual hell.
He anticipated that the newly formed body for Ramban will help NC to become voice of the region and develop a strong connection between party and people.
Nafees assured the party senior functionaries that his new team leave no stone unturned to make NC people’s first choice and will also provide succor to people who are disenchanted with anti-people policies of BJP governments both at centre and in J&K.
He assured that his team will work with dedication and strengthen the party at grass roots level.
Other NC leaders present on the occasion include Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Provincial Secretary Jammu, Pardeep Bali Secretary, Dr. Chaman Lal Bhagat Ex-MLA, Bimla Luthra Ex-MLA, Arif Mir District Secretary Ramban, Abid Magrey District Vice President Ramban, Deepinder Kour Ex-MLC, Vijay Lakhshmi Datta, Rita Gupta, Adil Mir, Hafeez Malik, Dr. Amina and others.
