Election of Bar Association RS Pura held 1/19/2023 11:44:19 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 19: The election of Bar Association RS Pura for the post of President, Vice President and General Secretary has been held on 14.01.2023 in the court premises from, 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m in a very pleasant atmosphere under the stewardship of Returning Officer Mr. Raj Kamal Thakyal Advocate. The total strength of Bar member is 51 out of which 47 has mandated: The following bar members have contested the election: S.No. Candidates Post 01. S. Joginder Singh Advocate & Mr. Som parkash Sharma Advocate President 02. Mr. Natha Ram Advocate & Mr. Dimple Mottan Advocate Vice President 03. Mr. Deepak Sharma Advocate & Mrs. Nisha Kumari Advocate General Secretary 01. S. Joginder Singh Advocate has defeated his rival Mr. Som Parkash Sharma Advocate by 16 votes: S. Joginder Singh Advocate declared as President BARSP for the year 2023- 2024. 02. Mr. Natha Ram Advocate has defeated his rival Mr. Dimple Mottan Advocate by 01 vote: Mr. Natha Ram Advocate declared as Vice President BARSP for the year 2023- 20241 03. Mr. Deepak Sharma Advocate has defeated his rival Mrs. Nisha Kumari Advocate by 19 votes Mr. Deepak Sharma Advocate declared as General Secretary BARSP for the year 2023-2024 04. Mr. Rohit Choudhary Advocate declared as Treasure of BARSP as unopposed for the year 2023-2024.
