| Bali alleges irregularities in Banihal polling | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 31- Sewa Singh Bali, District President Ramban and State General Secretary (PTU) of JKNPP, who contested the recently concluded Assembly election from 56-Banihal Constituency, alleged large scale irregularities and bungling in the election in Banihal constituency. Bali alleged that the election personnel deputed to conduct the election in Banihal constituency were insufficiently trained as it is quite evident from the result of the votes cast by the election personnel deputed in Banihal constituency as 16 votes were declared valid out of 496 votes cast by these election personnel He asked that those officials who failed to cast their own votes correctly how they could manage the process of conducting election by handling the voting machines correctly. He urged upon the Election Commission to conduct high level inquiry into the matter and order re-polling in entire Banihal constituency. Bali expressed his gratitude to the electorate of Banihal constituency who voted in his favour.
