JAMMU, Jan 23: Renowned poetess ghazalkar and satirist Anila Singh Charak received Bhasha Sahodari Rattan in mauritius, she was selected for attending 9th Indo Mauritius Hindi Sammellan for her extensive contributions in literature and her multifarious activities in art and education in Bhabha Research Centre Department of Atomic Energy Mumbai, she has been awarded twice for her excellent meritorious services by Atomic Energy Education Centre by Bhabha Award, the two days seminar was held in Mahatma Gandhi Bhavan in Mauritius, the president of Mauritius Dr Prithviraj Singh Rupan was the chief guest, speaking on the occassion president said that Mauritius is considered to be Mini India which is strongly bonded by Hindi language, about 95 percent people can speak in Hindi and have the same culture.
Many renowned writers from mauritius and other countries participated in the poetic symposium organised by Mahatma Gandhi Hindi Sansthan Mauritius and Bhasha Sahodary, Anila singh recited her ghazal which was heartily appreciated by the August gathering of dignitaries.
After two days conference a tour to beautiful places was organised, the scenic beauty mesmerised one and all, Anila has represented India in many countries and brought name and fame to her state and India as well for being the most famous ghazalkar from India, she has written many books of poetry and vyangya, her new book of ghazals is going to be published very soon she has won many awards from national and international level incliding Jammu and Kasmir Sahitya award, she has a keen interest in art and many exhibitions has been held at national and international level, the entire Jammu and Kashmir feels proud of her.
