Helpful Foundation celebrates National Girl Child Day

JAMMU, Jan 24: Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) celebrated National Girl Child Day at Govt. Primary School, Balyal, Panchayat Lower Malhar, Udhampur under the leadership of Vivek Parihar Director & CEO of LFO-BHF.
Many students and their families lack the resources to fulfill their basic requirements, one of which is woolen clothing for winters. Many children belonging to poor backgrounds avoid going to school in winters as they don't have woolen clothes to safeguard them from scorching cold. So in the wake of this LFO-BHF carry forwarded their signature project "Share The Warmth" in which they distributed woolen sweaters among needy students.
In this programme, Chief Guest, Balwan Singh, BDC chairman, Udhampur along with guest of honour Dalip Anthal, Panch Ward No. 4 Garnai, UDHAMPUR distributed warm sweater among the students of the mentioned school.
On speaking with Balwan Singh, BDC chairman, Udhampur said that the sweaters we donated are bringing a change filled with hope and happiness to the lives of the needy. These warm clothes will ensure their well being during the winter months.
On speaking with Vivek Parihar, CEO/Founder, LFO-BHF said wrapped in jackets and mufflers, most of us don't even have any idea about how millions of individuals and families living under reduced circumstances are making the arrangements of basic requirements to survive. Thus, after understanding their needs, we have taken quick steps in meeting the daily winter needs of natives living in marginalized communities.
The volunteers who were present in this project were Rimpi, Heetakshi, Diwaker, Arun, Rohit and many more.
