To counter BJP, opposition destabilizing country ahead of poll year: Kavinder
1/28/2023 10:40:47 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 28: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Saturday lashed out at opposition parties especially the Congress alleging that to counter BJP, these entities were destabilizing India ahead of election year.
Citing the instances, the BJP stalwart said that Congress leaders are raking up unnecessary controversies to create wedge among different segments of society eyeing political advantage but disregarding the damage which this would cause to the society as a whole.
In a statement issued to media persons, the former Deputy Chief Minister said that Congress' support to elements which are hell-bent to screen the controversial documentary purposefully made to defame PM Narendra Modi speaks louder than words about its malicious intentions. He said that remarks by Digvijay Singh against the bravehearts of Indian army are also outrageous and shows that the Congress leadership is desperate for power and to attain the same can stoop to a level which is unimaginable. He said that statements by Mani Shanker Aiyar and Swami Prasad Mauraya also show that opposition is misleading the people under a well knit ploy to get an edge in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls next year.
The senior BJP leader warned Congress and other opposition parties of playing with the fire as such divisive agenda can prove deleterious for the society and in the end would prove dangerous for one and all in the country. He said that the actions by some of the opposition parties including the Congress are maligning the image of the country at global level, and the nationalist people of the country under no circumstance will accept such cheap tactics and surely these actions will boomerang and will marginalize Congress and other parties to a new low as already the future of these political outfits is bleak and uncertain.
