JKCCA inaugurates 14th international exhibition of art

Jammu, Jan 29: 14th International Exhibition of Art (Online) organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Regd., Jammu was inaugurated online on 29th January, 2023 by the chief guest Jenab Saleem Beg, Former Chairman of National Monuments Authority, J&K and Director General Tourism. Pt. Kewal K Sharma, President Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts was the guest of honour whereas Sh. Romesh Bhosle, eminent artist (Pune) & Advisor JKCCA was the special guest on this occasion. The art work of select veteran, well known and young artists of India and abroad have been displayed in the exhibition.
JKCCA is perhaps the NGO in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir that integrates itself with the functions of visual arts, literature and performing arts and has been active since 1999. It has organized a large number of state, national and international level art camps, art exhibitions in India.
The art works of the following artists have been displayed in the exhibition: Keyla Hannani Morel Salgado Honduras, Mamta Patel and Dora Labora, USA, Fareha Zeba, Dhaka, Parul Razdan, Oman, K S Gill, Dharminder Sharma, Atul Mattu, Kavi Chouhan, Sahil Sodhi, Prof. Varinder Saini, Prof. Varinder Kumar, Gaytri (Punjab), V S Rahi, Dr. A K Dixit, Sireesha Srinivas, Rani Prasad, Shayani Boral Ghosh, Rehana Shafi Hussain, Dr. Rita Kashyap, Harsh Loomba (Delhi), Archana Choudhary (Bihar), Dr. Nathu Lal Verma, Jagmohan Mathodia (Rajsthan), Ashok Gupta, Dr. Mamta Singh, Vasudha Joshi, Pooja Panwar, Kalpana, Dr. Shekher Joshi, Sumit Kaur Kapoor (Uttrakhand), Ravinder Sharma (Chandhigarh), Prof. T S Batra, Jang S Verman, O P Sharma, Yousuf Naqshbandi, Deepa Soni, Ganesh Kumar Sharma, Noushad Gayoor, Santosh Tiku, Kamalnain Bhan, Arshid Sualeh, Aslam Naqshbandi, Rouf Qyasi, Rakesh Kumar Koul, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Dharam Pal Verrma, M Y Bacha, Ashok Mehra, Bhushan Kesar, Raj Kumar Sharma, Mastique Barq, Tariq Saifi (Jammu & Kashmir), Pratima Singh, Dr. Satya Singh, Prof. Sunil Sexena, Anuradha Gupta, Prof. Saroj Rani, Seema Gupta, Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma, Ekta Srivastava, Dr. Mamta Verma (UP); Dr. Alka Chadha, Shantala Madhu (Karnataka), Arpita Singh Ruparel (Maharashtra), Swati M Jain (MP), Kusum Lata Vaidya (Chhatishgarh), Yashwant Patel, Pinal Panchal (Gujarat), Rakesh Kumar Koul (Haryana), and Subrata Ghosh (W Bengal). The Director JKCCA has selected these ten upcoming artists whose art works are to be included in the exhibition: Ritika Verma, Nud, Samba, Prisha Magotra, Deepasha and Krish Bhardwaj, Jammu, Sajjad Ahmad, Rashta Baji, Shazaib Qahoo and Umar Harsan, Poonch, Saleni Verma, Basohli, Shanu Koul, Haryana.
