| 3 killed, 14 injured in road mishaps | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 01: Three persons died and fourteen others were injured in different road accidents in Jammu. A Mazda Truck bearing registration number HP45-4747 on way from Killer to Padder met with an accident at Shawas Ishtiyari Padder and rolled down about 700-800 feet on the bank of river Chenab, resulting in on the spot death of two persons and injuries to two others. Both the injured were hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard. An accident took place between a Motorcycle and unknown vehicle at Busain Morh Kathua, resulting in serious injuries to Motorcyclist Constable Romesh Chander son of Tridu Ram resident of Loundi Hiranagar posted at District Police Lines Kathua. The injured constable was rushed to GMC Jammu where he succumbed to his injuries. Twelve persons were admitted in GMC Jammu after sustaining injuries in different road accidents in Jammu city and its outskirts
