SNM organises blood donation camp

Jammu, Jan 29: Today on Sunday 29th January 2023, With the blessings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudhiksha Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (Social Wing of Sant Nirankari Mission) organized a volunteer blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Vijaypur (Jammu) to spread the message of Nirankari Baba Ji that ‘blood should flow in veins not in drains’. Devotees from local Branches of Sant Nirankari Mission i.e., Bishnah, Ramgarh and Pandorian also participated in this camp. This camp was inaugurated by Sh. Ranjeet Singh, Deputy Commissioner State Tax Kathua and Rakesh Dubey, Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba. While speaking on the occasion Sh. Rakesh Dubey glorified blood donation to be highest of all the donations and also highlighted the enthusiasm of the devotees who were eager to donate their blood selflessly in the long ques waiting for their turns. He appreciated the Sant Nirankari Mission for their true services towards the welfare of the mankind.
Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge, Zone 1 Jammu thanked the Chief Guest, Doctors their team; and all the blood donors. He said that the first Blood Donation Camp was organized in Delhi in Nov, 1986 and since then for last 37 years nearly about 8000 Blood Donation Camps have been organized so far by the Sant Nirankari Mission and more than 12 lakh units of blood have been donated till date. In the present time under the divine blessings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha ji Maharaj about 500 Blood Donation camps are organised across India in a year. He also highlighted the other charitable and socio-economic activities organized by the mission from time to time. Sat Paul, Mukhi branch Vijaypur expressed his gratitude to the participants of the camp.
Other Dignitaries presented on the occasion were Dr. Anshu Mahajan, Dr Anuradha Rajwal from Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Sh. B.R. Lachotra former Director General Planning, Ramesh Kumar (Executive Engineer) Satpal Mukhi Bishnah, Lekh Raj Mukhi Pandorian and several senior citizens and social workers of the society.
The camp was held in collaboration with blood & transfusion dept. of Govt. Medical College Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society & JKSACS.
