| Ghalib legacy lives on, Adbi Kunj pays tributes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Glowing tributes were paid in memorary of Mirza Assad Ullah Khan Ghalib on his 212th birth anniversary by poets and short story writers at Adbi Kunj have today. Sham Talib, Nargis Sitaora, Maharaq Krishan, Talib Kishmirir, B.M. Dubey and Zeenat Ferdous etc. highlighted the outstanding entributan by Ghalib to Urdu and prison poetry. Poets on the occasion poets said his poetry talks about pani, suffering happiness and above all life. Adbi Kunj also organized story and poetry session were wrters read out their latest, poems and Ghazals. Sham Talib, president Adbi Kunj also read out his shorty story ‘Meih Shiv Nahin’ and Talib kashmiri ‘Mitti Ki Keemat’. Among others present on the occasion were Pandit Brij Mohan Dubey, Maharaj KIrshen, Radish Kumar Trpt, K.L. Dubey deewana, tarseem navin, Dr. Ram Pal Sharma, Rakesh Kumar Sarkar, A.K. Ganjoo “Sehar Ganderbali” Sat Pal Sharma, Ayodhya Rani Gamkhwar, Rajiv Kumar, Babli Zutshi, Jaswant Singh, Sanjeev Kumar and Sham Talib. The meet concluded with vote of thanks presented by “Deewans” and said that Adbi Kunj is holding a special function including a short story recitation on January 11, 2009 to commemorate the 4th death anniversary of late Mallik Ram Anand a renowned Urdu short story writer and novelist of the state.
