Pak faces disintegration threat
2/5/2023 11:00:20 PM

There is a massive discontent in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), including Gilgit and Baltistan against Islamabad’s misrule. The economic crisis has led to the cost of essential items touching the sky.
According to the media reports the shortage of wheat and other food items have brought the residents of PoK, Gilgit and Baltistan on the streets. The food crisis and people being deprived of other basic amenities have created unrest in PoK and other regions. Voices demanding freedom from Pakistan are becoming shriller in PoK, Gilgit and Baltistan. Residents of these regions are looking towards India and are hoping that the dispensation led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi would come for their rescue by reclaiming PoK which has been under illegal occupation of Pakistan since 1947.
The Pakistani establishment has been ensuring that voices of dissent are silenced and the ones who are challenging the hegemony of Islamabad are brought to their knees. But the protests that are taking p-lace in PoK and other adjoining regions are an indication that people are fed up with the tyrannical rule of Islamabad and are not succumbing to pressure. Pakistan is paying a heavy price for supporting terrorism. During the past 30-years, it has not done anything except grooming terrorists in its backyard. Rulers instead of focusing on making lives of their people easy concentrated on how to bleed India by sending terrorists. They kept on dreaming about snatching Kashmir from India.
The Pakistani State worked overtime to foment trouble in J&K and spent huge money on building terror infrastructure in PoK. It also spent huge amounts on lacing terrorists with modern weapons. Pakistan also pumped in money into Kashmir through illegal Hawala channels to keep the pot boiling. However, the security forces foiled all the nefarious designs of Pakistan and the terror bosses. Terrorists sent by Pakistan were neutralized or sent back. The proxy war launched by the neighbouring country in J&K has almost ended as the terrorism in J&K is on its last legs.
Pakistan facing economic crisis and revolt from its people can trigger a civil war in the country and could lead to regions like PoK, Gilgit and Baltistan getting separated from the country. Supporting terror and the terrorist have pushed Pakistan to the brink and its facing a threat of possible disintegration.
