Kishtwar Admin organises Career Guidance Session for NEET, JEE-IIT, other Competitive exam aspirants

KISHTWAR, Feb 5: District Administration Kishtwar today organised a Career Guidance Session here in Reading Hub (24*7) Library of Government Model Higher Secondary School Girls.
The session was the part of the mentorship programme launched by Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav for the Aspirants of NEET JEE-IIT, CSE and other competitive exa
During the Guidance Session, Deputy Commissioner, Tehsildar Kishtwar Muneeb Umar; Accounts Officer DC Office, Imran Ahmed Kichloo besides Dr. Jamsheed Ahmed Assistant Professor from GDC Chatroo talked with the students about strategy and pattern of preparation to crack a competitive exam.
About 50 students besides competitive exam aspirants participated in the session. Among others, the workshop was attended by school faculty and staff members of the CEO Office.
The welcome address was presented by Accounts Officer Imran Ahmed Kichloo. He threw light on the aim and significance of conducting such sessions.
He also acquainted the aspirants about the techniques to develop the Communication skills, personality development besides the strategy to be adopted to crack NET and SLET exam.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner enumerated in detail the need of career counseling and guidance programmes at school and college level. He added that in this competitive world, career counseling helps the students to understand the career options and realize their strengths and weaknesses with regard to their course or profession.
He informed the aspirants that the district administration Kishtwar has planned to provide online-offline coaching to the aspirants of NEET and JEE-IIT by well known teachers of branded coaching institutes of India for which registration process is going on. He encouraged the students and competitive exam aspirants to enroll themselves to avail the coaching facility for NEET & JEE-IIT at their home town at nominal cost of Rs 990 per month.
He said the coaching classes will be started from March/April 2023 at Auditorium Projector of GDC Kishtwar from 4pm to 7 pm.
“District administration Kishtwar has taken several other steps including the establishment of 24*7 Library to benefit the students” , he added.

Dr Jamsheed gave helpful tips regarding academics, higher education, research and creative writing etc to the students.
At the end, an interactive question-answer session was held to enable the students to raise queries and clear their doubts. The queries were responded to by the Deputy Commissioner and others present in the session to best of the satisfaction of the students.
