The All India confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organizations has congratulated the people of state for their participation in the recently concluded Assembly elections which shows their faith in the democratic process president of the state unit of the Confederation R.K. Kalsotra expressed his warmest congratulations to governor N.N.Vohra for facilitation free and fair elections and expressed satisfaction over the fact that the people at large, especially the socially and educationally downtrodden sections of the society have arisen to reality by exercising their franchise to elect accountable and competent leaders who can work for development of the state and for the social emancipation of these classes. It was further expressed that the congress, which claims to be the champion of downtrodden, should select Dy. Chef Minister form among the SC/ST/OBC of the state. It is then only that the congress will be able to establish its credibility as the real champion of the masses and meet genuine aspirations of the downtrodden sections of society, he said.
