Rajasthan Foundation Commissioner Shri Dhiraj Srivastava said that the Foundation is anguished over the loss of lives due to the recent massive earthquakes that occurred in Turkey and Syria. As the Indian NDRF team is reaching to render help to the victims in the affected areas, the Foundation has also launched the helpline numbers to ensure that no NRR goes unattended during this crisis.
The foundation's NRR Mitras have already started working to help the affected families. The RF is continuously coordinating with the network of NRR Mitras to ensure assistance to the affected, he said.
“Our Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has always been sensitive to the needs of our Pravasi community. In the latest disaster that shook Turkey and Syria, the government is taking all necessary measures to ensure that affected Rajasthanis are helped out at any cost. We are working to ensure that all affected individuals get the much needed help as soon as possible. We will live up to the expectations of all our Pravasis," said the Commissioner. Shri Shrivastava further said that the Rajasthan government is committed to help the affected in the latest disaster on the lines the foundation worked effectively for the evacuation of NRRs during Ukraine conflict.
