Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 9: On the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Late Capt. G.S. Charak, Chairman of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, a Nine Kundi Gayatri Maha Yagya was organized in the premises of the School on 6th of Feb., 2023. On this occasion more than 1500 students along with their parents recited Mantras and Bhajans with traditional manner and offered Puranaahuti.
The Pooja and mantras were recited by the Pandits of Shanti Kunj Haridwar namely Pt. Tarsem Nagar, Pt. Suraj, Pt. Rajinder Pathania, Pt. Shrinivas Sharma, Pt. Parshotam Lal Sadotra & Pt. Jatinder Singh Manhas. They told the gathering about the importance of doing Yagya & Pooja Archana. They while performing the pooja disclosed that to worship any god, the offerings of Mantras by Hawan reached directly to god through Agni Dev. They also said that in a place where Yagyas works from time to time, all the negative forces get removed. In such a place, evil forces remain ineffective. By performing Yaga on a regular basis, the God is pleased to be happy and fulfils all our wishes. They also informed the gathering that with these types of Yagya whole of the environment gets the positive energy and becomes pure. They said that the meaning of Yagya is to do sacrifice, charity and worship. Its practical message is that one ought not to spend his entire earnings on himself and his family but should also distribute apart of it for the welfare of others. It also implies that the divinity and gentlemanliness should be respected and people should live together in mutual cooperation and love kindness.
On this occasion Principal of the school Gaurav Charak alongwith Vice Principal, Anku Charak apprised the students about the importance of performing such Yagya in maintaining a sense of balance and discipline in today's busy life style and told them that these types of Yagya were performed in ancient times for the wellbeing of the society. They also informed the students and parents present in the gathering that Yagya has many mind boggling scientific benefits, besides religious reasons. During performing Hawan when the samagri burns in the fire, it lets out smoke and fragrance which purifies the environment and is said to be anti bacterial. They told the gathering present on this occasion that Gayatri has been called righteous wisdom and Yagya as righteous action. Coordination of both solves all problems. It infuses religious fervor and enthusiasm in the participants.
As a part of continuous endeavor of Management of HPS towards providing better amenities and comfort for the students and staff, a new lift has been inaugurated in Junior Building Campus of the school by Meera Charak, chairperson of the school in presence of staff, parents and other dignitaries. On this occasion chairperson of the school informed the gathering that the Management of HPS is committed for providing more comfort to the students and the staff and is continuously upgrading the infrastructure and other amenities of the school.
While participating in the Hawan the teachers and the students of the school sought the blessings for the forth coming New Academic Session and prayed for the prosperity of humankind.
After completion of the Puranaahuti, Prasad (lunch) was served among all the devotees including students, parents and staff of the school.
