| Burglary in deaf and dumb school | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 02- Expressing concern over the burglary committed in the school run for deaf and dumb, Samaj Kalyan Kendra President Inderjeet Khajuria in a statement has said that this was the fourth burglary committed in the premises of Samaj Kalyan Kendra, with the police not able to apprehend the culprits and recover the stolen goods and cash. The burglary took place during the intervening night of January 1-2 and the thieves made good their escape, by stealing some cash and educational aids like microscope and other items from the school, the statement said. Urging the authorities, particularly the police to apprehend the culprits and recover the stolen items, Khajuria has stated that, the school is run with the donations from various philanthropist organizations and individuals. The Samaj Kalyan Kendra which runs the institution is a voluntary organization, rendering services to the needy and poor sections of the society in various fields. Hence the burglary committed from such a benevolent centre is highly regrettable. The police and other authorities should take serious note of the frequent burglaries committed from the premises of the centre and take effective steps to solve the mystery of thefts and recover the stolen items, Khajuria said in his statement.
