Multi-Speciality Uppal Neuro Hospital OPD Clinic starts in Jammu

JAMMU, Feb 12: The Multi-Speciality Uppal Neuro Hospital Outpatient Department (OPD) clinic has started at Kalu Chack area of Jammu on Sunday.
The Uppal Neuro & Multispeciality OPD clinic was inaugurated by Dr Ashok Uppal (Neurologist and owner of Uppal hospital), Jammu Mayor Rajinder Sharma who was present there as a chief guest in presence of Deputy Mayor Baldev Billawaria and other officials including Gulchain Singh Charak, Corporate Greater Kailash Anil Kumar , Dr Salil Uppal, Dr Shikhil Uppal were also present there.
Addressing media on this occasion, Dr Ashok Uppal said, “ For the last many years have been looking and planning to open Neuro hospital in Jammu but now with the grace of God today I have succeeded in opening it.”
The Uppal Neuro & Multispeciality opd clinic will provide OPD facilities to Neuro and spine related issues on Friday and orthopedic and cardiologist OPD facilities on Saturday whereas all tests like VER, VERA, EMG, NSC services will also provided clinic, Dr Uppal added.
“ The main objective to open clinic in Jammu are advanced Neuro services as well as 24 x 7 consultation services to people of Jammu.
The main functioning of the clinic will be directed from Amritsar Hospital.”
The Jan Aushadhi centre will also be operated in Jammu Uppal Neuro and Multispeciality opd clinic, Dr Uppal added. Jammu Mayor Rajinder Sharma Congratulated Dr Uppal to open clinic at Jammu. The opening of Jan Aushadhi centre will help patients to get the medicines at the rate of 10% to total cost of the medicines.
Deputy Mayor Baldev Billawaria said, “ Health Infrasturcture has been upgrading in Jammu with the special focus of PM Narendra Modi government regime.”
The opening of Uppal clinic at ward number 68 Kalu Chack Jammu is another step towards it where latest facilities are going to provide, Dy Mayor added.
