Nirvan Divas of Sant Kabir observed at Bishnah

Jammu, Feb 12: All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha today observed ‘505th Kabir Nirvan Divas’ on 12.02.2023 at Kabir Bhawan Chak-Avtara, Bishnah. The function was largely attended by people from all the districts of Jammu division especially from district Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur & Reasi.
On this occasion, the KABIR BIJIK (GRANTH) which was transferred from Kashi (UP) was today finally installed at Kabir Bhawan, Bishnah. A grand Shoba-yatra Alongwith the granth was taken out starting from Kabir Mandir, Phinder to Bishnah passing via various surrounding areas & finally rested at Kabir Bhawan, Chak-avtara, Bishnah. The devotees were singing bhajans & the shoba yatra was warmly welcomed by the passing villages & the route was decorated by flowers. Thereafter a spiritual discourse was given on the philosophy of Kabir wani.
President of the Kabir Sabha, Sh. F.C. Bhagat while addressing the gathering said that “where there is truth, no religion is required because truth itself is the biggest religion. This is duly stated by Lord Buddha, Sant Kabir, Mahatma Phule & Dr. B.R Ambedkar. Sh. Guru Nank Dev & other Saints called this truth as Satnaam. He appealed to the society at large to unite on a common platform and maintain a positive approach for the proper upliftment of the mankind irrespective of caste, color or religion.
The Sabha also applauded the restoration of reservation in promotion to the SC/ST community as envisaged under the relevant laws & further appealed the UT Govt. to implement the same by giving a retrospective effect & clearing the back logs of the SC/ST quota. Besides, the sabha also appealed the UT Administration to consider the issue of transfer policy of the reserved employees posted in Kashmir which is a long pending demand.
The sabha thereafter congratulated all the members of the community who cleared various UPSC & State PSC examinations, Professional examinations & students who scored excellent in their subjects.
Among others who also attended & spoke on the occasion were Mula Ram Ex-Minister, G.R Bhagat, Sr. Vice President, Prof. Ashok Bhagat Vice-President, Manohar Lal, General Secretary, Gurdass Bhagat, District Presidents Manohar Lal, Pawan Kumar, Ram lal, Balbir Bhagat, Sat Pal & all the office bearers who paid rich tributes to the Great Saint Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sahib.
At the end GURU Ka Langar was served to the sangat.
