Kavinder slams Rahul for remarks against eviction, says BJP undoing wrongs of Cong, NC regimes
2/12/2023 11:04:53 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Feb 12: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has pooh poohed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his most unwanted and irrelevant remarks against the ongoing eviction drive carried against the big sharks across Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking a dig at Rahul, Kavinder said that the so called Congress ‘prodigy’ without having any knowledge of the ground situation keeps on issuing statements one after the other which are far away from the truth. However it needs to be acknowledged by one and all that by issuing a variety of statements regularly Rahul has definitely become a source of entertainment for the people.
It is pertinent to mention here that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday attacked the BJP over the ongoing anti-encroachment drive in Jammu and Kashmir, saying the Union Territory wanted employment, better business and love but instead got the “BJP’s bulldozer”. The authorities have so far retrieved more than 10 lakh kanals (one kanal =605 sq yards) of land across Jammu and Kashmir after the Commissioner Secretary, Revenue department, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri directed all Deputy Commissioners to ensure 100 per cent removal of encroachments from the state land on January 7.
Kavinder said that the big sharks in Jammu and Kashmir had plundered the wealth of this region including creating huge estates and commercial structures by encroaching the State land besides getting the lands allotted under the Roshni Act under a well planned conspiracy to make hay during the successive regimes of NC and Congress at the cost of the common people who had been left to the mercy of God and fend for themselves.
The senior BJP leader said that the incumbent J&K Govt by taking stringent action against the big sharks only to undo the wrongs done by the successive regimes in Jammu and Kashmir for over seven decades. He said that the people of J&K are overwhelmingly appreciating the eviction drive initiated against the big sharks who had illegally encroached the state land during the NC and Congress regimes which is evident from the reactions from cross section of the society especially in Kashmir. He said Rahul will always turn a blind eye towards the positive changes on ground in Jammu and Kashmir after abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.
Kavinder asserted that the credit of successful conclusion of Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kashmir peacefully goes to Modi Govt as no such Yatra was conducted during the Congress rule at the Centre and Rahul Gandhi will never realize or accept this as Congress’ only agenda is to oppose each and every move of the BJP Govt without even making any attempt to analyze the merits and demerits.
Asserting that Rahul and his party’s utterances are misconceived and full of malafide intentions, Kavinder Gupta said that J&K is booming in all sectors be it business or overall development as of today, he reminded the Congress leader that Kashmir has witnessed massive influx of tourists from across the country in the previous season and developmental activities are going on at an unprecedented pace.
