Justice seems to be done after 10 years; 4 accused acquitted after11 years

Rajouri, Feb 12: A Case FIR No. 88 2012 was registered with Police Station Kandi with alleged allegations that two accused had conspired to kill deceased and for that purpose they had hired other two alleged persons i.e. two accused and paid them the ransom. Motive was illicit relationship between two accused person.
On this challan was presented and trial was conducted before the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge Rajouri .
33 witnesses were cited in the challan and they were examined in the said court.
Arguments before were advanced and were rebutted strongly by the Public Prosector Vijay Sudan. Counsels of the accused Ms. Deepakshi Maday, K.H. Firdose and Ashfaq Lone have laid their thurst on faulty investigation conducted by the investigating officer and material lapses is the evdence collected by the IO.
While pronouncing the judgment for acquittal Ld. Additional Sessions Judge Rajouri Mehmood Chowdhary appreciated the arguments advanced by Counsel for the accused and held that Investigating Officer had conducted faulty Investigation as he failed to collect relevant, cogent evidence during investigation. He failed any to cite any witness with respect to the illicit relationship as alleged. Neither he has cited the person who had collected call detail record nor had taken certificate under Section 65-B of Evidence Act.
Prosecution failed to prove charge against accused behind any Shadow of doubt as a result accused persons are acquitted of the charges framed against them.
