Pulwama martyrs can never be forgotten
2/14/2023 10:34:30 PM

As the nation paid tributes to Pulwama attack martyrs, the country’s leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh and others reiterated the country’s resolve to eliminate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir.
On February 14, 2019, a suicide bomber had rammed his explosive laden car into a convoy of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Pulwama leaving 40 jawans dead.
The terror attack was owned by Pakistan based terror outfit JeM. To avenge the attack Indian Air Force (IAF) jets crossed the Line of Control for the first time since 1990 and carried out airstrikes at terror training camps at Balakote deep within the Pakistan territory.
India sent a clear message to Pakistan and the terrorist bosses that the misadventures carried out by them would get a befitting reply.
After the Pulwama attack security forces launched a major counter offensive against the terrorists present in Kashmir and succeeded in eliminating the terror module that was involved in the attack. All the self-styled commanders of JeM have been killed and the conspirators, who were a part of the conspiracy to carry out the terror attack, have been arrested.
While paying tributes to Pulwama attack martyrs, PM Modi said, “Remembering our valorous heroes who we lost on this day in Pulwama. We will never forget their supreme sacrifice. Their courage motivates us to build a strong and developed India.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted: “I pay homage to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the ghastly terror attack in Pulwama on this day in the year 2019. The nation can never forget their sacrifice. Their valour and indomitable courage will always remain an inspiration in the fight against terrorism.”
During the past three years, the country’s leadership has sent a clear message to Pakistan and the terrorists that if they make any attempt to bleed India, they will have to face the consequences and the Indian Army won’t hesitate to cross the LoC and the International Border to avenge any terror attack.
Supreme sacrifices of Pulwama martyrs will never be forgotten and India is committed to eliminate terrorism from J&K once for all. Pulwama heroes are the strength of every Indian in the fight against terror.
