Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 16: For every human being, education is important to live an enriched life. Unfortunately, not everyone gets the privilege of a good education early in their childhood. Mostly, financial disparities play a crucial role behind it. But the situation can be improved. There are several ways to educate poor children and bring a positive change to our society. In an attempt to bring this positive change, on February 13, 22, Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) under the guidance of Vivek Parihar Director & C.EO initiated their project named " Mission MAKE -Make All Kids Educated " in a slum at Birma Pull, Udhampur. As the weeks passed, LFO-BHF carried forward this project at Hazuri Bagh (Talab Tillo) and Janipur.
Members of LFO-BHF committed to providing basic education to the unfortunate. The counselling of these children and their parents has remained the main objective of Mission: Many children and their parents showed major concern regarding their education and studies, but due to some unavoidable circumstances they failed to continue their studies, and hence, the entire LFO-BHF team is committed to providing every single possible help to underprivileged people. Under this project, more than 100 needy children were counselled, some of whom were enrolled in schools under different government schemes.
On speaking with Rimpi Sharma (Mission incharge of Udhampur) said, "Our NGO is commited for education for underprivileged children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labour, children of poorest of the parents, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children. Special emphasis is given on girl education land women education, so that they and their families get empowered". On speaking with Navya (Mission Incharge of Jammu), said, "Our vision is to work as a catalyst in bringing sustainable change in the lives of underprivileged children with a life-cycle approach to development".
