Early Times Report Jammu, Jan O3- The Governor NN Vohra administered the oath of office to 56 year old Justice Barin Gosh, as 27th Chief Justice of J&K High Court, at an impressive but simple function held in the lawns of Raj Bhawan here today. The warrant of elevation of Justice Barin Gosh as Chief Justice issued by President of India was read out by Registrar General of the High Court MK Hanjura. On this occasion, Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakru First Pusine Judge, Justice Nirmal Singh, Justice Virender Singh, Justice YP Nargotra, Justice Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain, Justice JP Singh, Justice Sunil Hali, Justice Vinod Kumar Gupta, besides retired Justice KK Gupta, Justice GD Sharma President Consumer Commission, Justice OP Sharma, Justice Bashir-ud-Din presently Chairman SHRC, Presiding Officers of Subordinate Court, Advocate General DC Raina, President BAJ Sunil Sethi, Vice President Surinder Kour and number of Advocates were also present . Justice Barin Ghosh First Pusine Judge of Patna High Court and born on June 5, 1952 was enrolled as an Advocate on December 19, 1978 and practiced at Calcutta mainly on Civil, Company and Constitutional matters. He was appointed as a Permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on July 14, 1995. He joined at Patna High Court on January 7, 2005. Chief Justice Barin Ghosh on reaching the court complex was given guard of honour by the police. He later held the court with the First Pusine Judge in a Division Bench.
