JAMMU, Feb 20: A Five day workshop on formulation of syllabus cum Academic calendar by Assessment Cell JKSCERT, Divisional Office Jammu under the guidance of worthy Joint Director H.R. Pakhroo culminated today on 20th February 2023 at SCERT Jammu Division.
This workshop was inaugurated on 14th of February in the presence of N.P. Singh, Associate Professor, Pawan Kumar, Associate Professor, Surjeet Kumar, Professor, Vinod Gupta, Associate Professor and Kishore Kumar, Associate Professor JKSCERT Jammu. Rakesh Chobber (Academic Officer) and Rajesh Hali (Sr.Academic Officer) gave presentations on NEP guidelines regarding ECCE and Assessment schemes. The participants were acquainted with SA&ES which has been notified by SCERT and is to implemented from Academic session 2023-24.
A total of thirty senior lecturers/ lecturers/ masters/teachers participated in this workshop. The objective of this workshop was to formulate syllabus cum Academic Calendar for Foundational Stage (i.e ECCE,1st and 2nd Class) and also for the subjects of Hindi, Dogri and Punjabi (for classes 1stto 8th).
This workshop was coordinated by the members of Divisional Assessment Cell SCERT J&K Jammu namely Rakesh Chobber & Bindia Balwal, Academic Officers alongwith Rajesh Hali, Sr.Academic Officer & Ranjeet Manhas, Head from Central Move Office(Assessment Cell) JKSCERT. Participants were divided into seven teams as per the work assigned to them i.e Urdu Team, Hindi Team, Punjabi Team, Dogri Team, English Team, ECCE Team and Mathematics Team. Each team completed their work on time.
In the valedictory session, worthy Joint Directors H.R. Pakhroo -SCERT J&K Jammu and F.A. Fayaz Joint Director-Central congratulated the whole team and participants for completing the task in time bound manner. Certificates were also distributed among the participants.
The workshop ended with the vote of thanks by Rakesh Chobber, Academic Officer, SCERT J&K-Jammu Division.
