REASI, Feb 21: Drive against bovines smuggling in district Reasi continues, teams of District Police laid special nakas in different areas and arrested 06 Bovine Smugglers and rescued 11 bovines from their possession. In 06 FIR's 09/2023,15/2023, 21/2023, 45/2023, 49/2023, 53/2023, registered at PP Dera Baba, PP Thanole, P/S Katra, PP Shajroo and PP Bhambla against the 06 bovine smugglers namely 1. Farooq Ahmed S/O Saif Ali Caste Gujjar R/O Bamyal Tehsil Nagrota Distict Jammu 2. Mohd Haneef S/O Mohd Gami Caste Gujjar R/O Dubb Madeen Tehsil and District Jammu 3. Shokat Ali S/O Abdul Aziz Caste Gujjar R/O Khour Bani Tehsil Khawas District Rajouri 4. Mushtaq Ahmed S/O Din R/O Talab Tillo Jammu 5. Mohd Arif S/O Habibulla R/O Saldhar Tehsil Mahore and District Reasi 6. Sanjeev Kumar S/O Kesar Lal R/O Banjiwah Tehsil Nowshera District Rajouri and 05 Vehicles seized bearing Registration No.s JK20-6674, JK02BJ 7340, JK02CE 3022, JK02AJ- 6125 and JK11D 8142. These 06 accused persons were arrested on the spot and investigation initiated to unearth forward and backward linkages under the Supervision of Neeraj Padyar-JKPS, Dy.SP Hqrs Reasi. Further Investigation in the cases is going on. Pertinently Reasi Police under the supervision of Amit Gupta SSP Reasi established zero tolerance towards Bovines Smuggling and is committed to eradicate the menace of Bovine Smuggling from the District. |
