| Blood donation camp organized at GGM Science College | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 21: NSS unit II Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College organized a blood donation camp RAKTDAAN MAHA DAAN under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Rajesh Gupta and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan under the aegis of G 20 India 2023 as a part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav. As the theme of NSS stands Not me But You. The team from GMC Jammu arrived under the supervision of Dr. Taseer and team Mehraj, Rifat, Sunita, Amjed, Rafiq and Pawan. About 30 NSS volunteers and the students of GGM Science College donated blood with zeal. The awareness was to spread the message Donate Blood and Save lives. Just one donation can save upto three lives. The average red blood cell transfusion is three pints. It costs you nothing but it will be the reason of smile to many faces. Your little share of blood can give many years of life to someone. Juice and refreshment was served to blood donors. The NSS Program Officer Dr. Deepali Mahajan appreciated and thanked the volunteers and students of the college for donating blood and becoming a life saver. |
