| CMO reviews MR Surveillance in Doda | | |

DODA, Feb 21: Acting upon the directions of Director General FW, MCH & Immunization J&K Dr Saleem ur Rehman, a Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr A H Zargar today reviewed progress made in the Measles and Rubella (MR) surveillance in the District launched by the GOI to achieve MR elimination control in India by December 2023. District Immunization Officer, Dr Versha Sharma briefed the chair about the set SOPs and draft agenda of the meeting. The same was discussed in length and breadth, including the strategies to be adopted for eliminating MR from the District. The CMO directed the participants and other stakeholders to spearhead the efforts with regard to achieving the target of MR elimination in a time bound banner and as fixed by the GOI. |
