| Mansoor expresses concern over unscheduled power cuts | | | Early Times Report Anantnag, Jan 4 – Expressing dismay over the frequent unscheduled power cuts, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and MLA Shangus Peerzada Mansoor Hussain today said the worsening power crisis has put the people to lot of trouble. In a statement, Mansoor said during his extensive tour of around a dozen remote villages of Shangus constituency, the people complained about regular power shutdowns. He said the new Government must address this issue on priority as people are facing immense hardships on this count. Mansoor said the villages including Chowgam, Chattergul, Chaklipora and Dethu, falling in the upper belt of Shangus constituency are facing acute scarcity of rations and the Government must ensure adequate supply of rations and Kerosene oil there. He said in view of the weather conditions and anticipated snow fall, snow-cutters must be kept ready to ensure smooth movement of traffic in his constituency.
