JAMMU, JAN 4: Governor, Mr N N Vohra, has felicitated the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the 10th Guru of the Sikh Panth.
In a message, the Governor observed that the teachings of the great Guru, a fearless revolutionary and a social reformer, will continue to inspire generations to strive for a healthier society and a just social order.
Vohra expressed the hope that, on this happy day, the people of Jammu and Kashmir would re-dedicate themselves to the values underlying the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, an apostle of peace, compassion and love, and celebrate the auspicious day in a matter befitting our glorious heritage and composite ethos.
The Governor prayed for the complete restoration of peace and tranquility in the State.
