Jammu, Feb 24: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)District Jammu South under the leadership of Rekha Mahajan organised’Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan’ (booth strengthening campaign), workshop of BJP Jammu District South at party office Kachi Chawni, Jammu.
It was commenced with the traditional lightening of the lamp by Senior BJP stalwart leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, BJP General Secretary J&K & former MLC Vibodh Gupta, BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan, State Secretary, and Prabhari Jammu South Ayodhya Gupta, Inderjeet Sharma Organization secretary ,Parduman Singh Campaign Incharge including District General Secretaries Akash Chopra and Pushpinder Charak comprising district office bearers, Mandal Presidents , District and Mandal Incharges of the campaign.
Kavinder Gupta, while addressing the meeting, laid stress on the importance strong organizational network at the ground level. To achieve this purpose, he asked the party activists to ensure “Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyaan” well before the coming elections. He asked the party leaders to strengthen the party at the Polling booth level. He asked the party senior to constitute different teams at the District level, Constituency level, and booth level.
Vibodh Gupta in his address told the party Karyakartas to frequent their visits to every booth in coordination with Mandal President & Shakti Kendra Incharges.
He laid special emphasis on the booth sashaktikaran. “Senior party leaders in conjunction with local leaders should contact every prominent person in the booth to increase the party’s base and endorsement of its policies and works,”.
In her presidential address, Rekha Mahajan emphasized the Booth Sashaktikaran program will be based on the slogan ‘Apna Booth Majboot.’
While addressing the meeting Rekha Mahajan asked the party cadre to emphasize strengthening the party at the booth level with the assembly election in J&K slated to be announced any time shortly. She told the party leaders to contact the ground-level workers and the common masses hailing from their booth area to apprise them of the works done by the BJP government, both in state and center, and discuss their issues in detail alongside. She asked them to do their task diligently and ensure their work to the full expectations of the organization.
Ayodhya Gupta also shares his thoughts and experience related to the importance of IT and Media related issues.
Parduman Singh discussed in length threadbare discussions on various issues related to issues of Booth Shashaktikaran and special reference to the party-related programs.
On 31st January President of India Droupadi Murmu in her first joint address to parliament appreciated the efforts of Modi Sarkar.
Today On the occasion of Booth Shashaktikaran Abhiyaan, BJP District Jammu South held a meeting. In this meeting, four main speakers were given the responsibility to read the speech of the President Of India. The speakers were Vice Presidents Shallu Gupta and Karuna Chetri, and District Secretaries Rohiin Chandan and Abhinav Anand.
The speakers read the same speech today in the meeting. This is the first time that such a program has been assigned to the cadre for implementation.
