NHPC organizes Hindi Kavi sammelan

Jammu, Feb 24: NHPC organized a grand Hindi Kavi Sammelan on February 24th 2023 at its Corporate Office, Faridabad for the purpose of promotion of Rajbhasha throughout the company. R.K. Vishnoi, CMD, NHPC inaugurated the Kavi Sammelan by lighting the traditional lamp. Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical) / Director (Personnel), R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects), Santosh Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer and other senior officers and employees were also present on the occasion. Chanchal Vishnoi, Pushpa Chaubey, Gayatri Goyal and other members of Ladies welfare association were also present during the Kavi Sammelan. On this occasion, R.K. Vishnoi, CMD, NHPC in his first address after taking over as CMD, NHPC, applauded the dedication, efforts and hard work of all NHPCians that resulted not only in construction of 22 power projects in remote and difficult locations but also efficient operation of these power stations. He further said this year NHPC is going to commission its two most prestigious projects and assured his full support for completion of these projects. He also added that NHPC Board is committed to provide all possible facilities to its employees so that their morale remains high and they contribute their best to NHPC.
During the Kavi Sammelan, renowned poets including Padma Sunil Jogi, Shambhu Shikar, Yogendra Sharma, Vineet Chauhan, Rajesh Chetan, Rajesh Agarwal and Gauri Mishra enthralled the audience with various poetic recitals based on different poetic ‘rasas’ and also dealing with patriotic and social issues.
