Kavinder rebukes Congress for derogatory remarks against PM
2/25/2023 10:49:15 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25: Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has slammed the opposition parties and their leaders for making most unwanted and atrocious comments against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal every other day.
He expressed this while responding to the recent statements of Congress spokesperson Udit Raj and Maulana Tauqeer Raza. The senior BJP leader was addressing the Mandal Working Committee meeting of Jammu South in which he also asked the Party cadre to gear up for the upcoming polls in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
It is pertinent to mention here that Congress spokesperson Udit Raj tweeted that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi's grave is not dug then it will automatically lead to the digging of grave of the whole nation. Similarly Maulana Tauqeer Raza had said that India can never become a Hindu Rashtra and that VHP and Bajrang Dal are terrorist organizations which should be banned by the Government.
Kavinder termed the Congress and other opposition leaders a frustrated lot as they are unable to see any ray of hope to return to power in the coming years as the PM Modi led Govt has performed par excellence in serving the common people of this nation initiating a slew of welfare measures and schemes reaching to the tail-ender in line. He said that by issuing such statements the Congress has dug its own grave and is soon going to vanish into the oblivion.
He said that BJP Govt has in a very short tenure done what Congress could not do for over seven decades. He said that the incumbent Govt has not only rolled out these schemes but has also ensured that these schemes are implemented in letter and spirit to benefit every section of the society.
The senior BJP leader, while addressing all those present during the Mandal Working Committee meeting asked party cadre to make relentless efforts to further strengthen the party base at grass roots level by reaching out to the common people and getting their issues addressed. He said that it is the result of efforts of party workers and activists that the lotus is in full bloom even in Kashmir Valley today and BJP is going to come out with flying colours in the upcoming elections.
Rekha Mahajan, President District President, said that the party cadre is ready to go for any political battle in J&K as ground work for the polls has been accomplished to the satisfaction of party leadership. She however asked the cadre to continue with the good work by remaining proactive on ground until the party registers a thumping majority in the upcoming polls.
