| DLSA Kishtwar organises awareness Programme | | |

KISHTWAR, Feb 25: District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar today organized an awareness programme on the theme Women Empowerment here in CDPO office under the Chairmanship of Y.P Kotwal, Principal District and Session Judge and the chairman of District Legal Services Authority.
Sub-Judge ( Secretary of District Legal Service Authority) besides Advocates and staff members attended the programme.
Highlighting the importance of the programme, the Sub-Judge, (Secretary of DLSA) said that the main objective of the programme was to raise awareness among women and empower them in the society so that they can compete with every challenge they face in their daily lives. He further said that DLSA is also providing legal Aid to many women on a daily basis
Advocate Anjali Gulati, a panel Lawyer also spoke on the occasion and made the women aware about the free legal assistance and other schemes related to them. She also highlighted the importance of women empowerment in the programme.
Similar programmes were also organized by all PLV of district level. |
