Visiting officer reviews saturation of dev schemes in Panchayat Shiendra Lower

JAMMU, Feb 28: A meeting to review the implementation of Back to Village (B2V4) works was held today at Panchayat Ghar, Shiendra Lower Panchayat, Block Lassana of District Poonch.
Director General, Floriculture Parks and Gardens, Jammu Jatinder Singh -as the Prabhari/Visiting Officer chaired the meeting.
Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat, Wajahat Bhukhari along with all the Panchs attended the said meeting.
Panchayat Secretary, Yougal Raina conducted the meeting, Prominent Citizens of the Gram Panchayat also attended the Gram Sabha and review meeting.
The Frontline Workers Officers/Officials of the different Departments including Revenue, Agriculture, Education, Youth Services & Sports, Rural Development, Health and Medical Education, ICDS, Floriculture, PWD (R&B), Jal Shakti (PHE), JPDCL (PDD), Animal Husbandry and Representative of JK Bank Lassana were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Prabhari/Visiting Officer took a detailed review of the development of indicators including status of deliverables in the Panchayat. He also undertook review of works approved after B2V4 in response to demands raised by the general public.
The Prabhari/Visiting Officer also stressed upon different Departments to achieve 100% saturation level in all the beneficiary schemes of the Government so that genuine persons are not left out of any scheme. It was informed that all the departments have switched over to the online mode as per directions of the Government.
No Domicile Certificate/Category Certificate/Mutation is pending with the Revenue Authority of the Panchayat as reported by the Concerned Revenue Official.
Out of a total requirement of 100 electric poles in the Panchayat, 20 poles have been installed in ward 1, 2 & 3 and the remaining poles shall be installed shortly as reported by JPDCL representative.
Repair of the main road of the Panchayat by way of pothole filling, pending due to bad weather, shall be done before 30th April 2023 as reported by the Junior Engineer of concerned department.
The Bank official reported that one loan case from the Panchayat has been sanctioned under the Self Employment Scheme.
The Prabhari/Visiting Officer asked the Sarpanch/Panches and Frontline workers of the different departments to send more cases under different Self Employment Schemes to the Bank so that these could be sanctioned within time for the benefit of the needy persons.
The representative of the Jal Shakti Department informed that one scheme of water supply has been sanctioned for the Panchayat under Jal Jeevan Mission and efforts would be made to supply drinking water to all the households of the Panchayat in a phased manner by the department.
