Common man down, dejected after Modi Govt's another blow of hike in LPG price: Namrta
3/1/2023 11:08:21 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 1: Namrta Sharma, President Women Wing, AAP J&K on Wednesday took the BJP government led by PM Narendra Modi head on by claiming that the so-called Achhe Din Sarkar is bulldozing the budgets of common man by gigantic figures of inflation as those sitting at helm are indifferent and phlegmatic.
In a statement issued to media persons, the senior AAP leader from the UT resented massive hike in price of household LPG cylinder by Rs 50 and urged the central minister Smriti Irani to come to fore and condemn the steps taken by her colleagues in making the lives of common people a hell as she used to do during the UPA regimes when the LPG prices crossed just Rs 450 mark.
The senior AAP leader said that BJP leadership is real hypocrite and rely on double standards as today when the LPG cylinder's price is far more than Rs 1100, the 'heavyweight' minister is moving carefree as if people have a number of cylinders in reserve to use and cook their meals. She said that the daily earners are the worst lot but the Modi Government and its ministers continue to enact dramas on podiums as if there is nothing like inflation in the country.
"The reality today is that the common man is down and dejected to such an extent that it has no energy left to even speak against the poor performance of Saffron brigade government", Namrta said, adding that every person hit by the wrong policies of the Modi Government is awaiting elections to give a befitting response to the arbitrary decisions of those heading the government because in J&K the life of people has turned hopeless as the same is doomed with the anti-people decisions including so-called anti-encroachment drive, property tax and now the one-time unprecedented hike in LPG prices as common household cylinder has seen a raise of Rs 50 and over Rs 350 is increased for the commercial bottles.
The senior AAP leader mocked at BJP claiming that under rule of other parties, PM Modi had earned lot of profit in his tea business but under his rule, even selling tea has become impossible because through the courtesy of his dispensation Chaiwallas in the country are fast changing their professions or simply becoming jobless due to reckless policies' implementation. She also accused the Modi Government over giving undue support and funds to the businessman G Adnani at the cost of snatching away the cool life of common man in the country as the entire burden of Adani has now shifted on the shoulders of people of this country who in good faith supported a Chaiwalla to run the country but what he accomplished in return is unacceptable and pathetic.
