| Ganai is Principal Secretary to CM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 6: Principal Secretary Home and senior IAS Officer, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai has been posted as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
A Government order issued here today said that the Principal Secretary, Home, Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Ganai has been posted as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister with immediate effect.
The order further says that Mr. Ganai shall also hold the additional charge of the Home Department till further orders.
A highly experienced and talented bureaucrat, Mr. Ganai, 1982 IAS batch has held several important positions including Secretary to Government, Rural Development, Food Supplies and Transport, Agriculture and Cooperative and General Administration Department. He has also served as Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and Resident Commissioner, New Delhi. He has represented the State Government before the Government of India and at all other governmental and non-governmental forums including Foreign Mission.
