JAMMU DEC 7: Jammu and Kashmir Awami National Conference (ANC) Jammu Unit condoles the sad demise of former Chief Minister and the patron of Jammu and Kashmir Awami National Conference Khwaja, G.M. Shah, who expired at Srinagar yesterday after a brief illness.
In the condolence meeting presided over by the Provincial President Gian Singh, paid tribute to the departed leader, and dismiss him as an able administrator and a friend of the humanity who always stood with his principles. Members conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family and also observed a two minute silence.
Those who paid tributes included, Th Randhir Singh, Kewal Sharma, Aijaz Bhat, Ch. Shabir Ahmed, R.N. Wanchoo, Narinder Dev Chuni, Gurmeet Singh, Mohinder Singh, Gurbajan Singh, Ramesh Tickoo, Banarsi Dass, H.N. Tickko, Gain Choudhary and Hem Chand.
Former, MP Jenakraj Gupta also expressed great shook and grief over the death of G.M. Shah in a condole meeting. Others who also paid tributes were B.R. Kundel, MLC, Parduman Singh, Om Chaju, Hari Om, Ex. MLA etc
