| Jammu Yatri Bhawn releases ‘Panchang’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT

The New Year Hindu religious calendar ( Panchang ) published by Jammu Yatri Bhawn trust was released amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by prominent Hindu scholars and religious preachers here today. Former Chief Engineer R&B K.K. Arora who had major contribution in designing and construction of Jammu Yatri Bhawn at Haridwar, was the chief guest on the occasion.
On the occasion, Pawan Shastri, President Jammu Yatri Bhawn and Ram Langer treasurer allotted six rooms at Yatri Bhawn Haridwar to the donors, through draw of lots. He also announced that the coming Amawas falls on 26 January 2009 and all those desirous of visiting Haridwar, to have the holy dip in the sacred river Ganga and get booking of rooms in Jammu Yatri Bhawn, should enlists themselves with the Yatri Bhawn office here.
Besides trustees of the yatri bhawn its executive members, a large number of donors of Yatri Bhawn and those who have made donation for the printing of the calendar were present in the function.
