Poonch Jan 07- In an emergent meeting the state Pahari Welfare Forum has voiced its demand of induction of Ajiaz Ahmed Jan, MLA Poonch into the state cabinet.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of Lokesh Kumar Sharma Forum President and attended by a large number of people have urged the chief minister Omar Abdullah to give due representation to the community by inducting the newly elected MLA of the area in the cabinet.
Late MLA of Poonch- Haveli G.M Jan, who had been a loyal stalwart of the National Conference and had the unique honour of remaining MLA for the three consecutive terms, was never inducted in the council of Ministers. Since his son has been overwhelmingly elected by the people of Poonch and now it rests upon the Chief Minister to take Aijaz Jan into his council of Ministers as he is a young, dynamic and able son of an able and loyal father.
The meeting among others was attended by Shakeel Azad, M.M. Khan, Ravinder Kumar Kalab Abbas, Manmohan Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Harbans Singh, Iqhlaq Khan, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Arun Sharma, Shafiq Mir, Anwar Khan, Najmal Jafri, Magray, Asif Manhas and M.M. Dar.
