| Governor pays tribute to Karbala martyrs | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JAN 7: Governor, N N Vohra, today paid tribute to the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and other martyrs of Karbala.
In a message, the Governor said that the martyrdom of Hazrat Iman Hussain (AS) reminds mankind of the true values and high morality. "The underlying message in the sacrifice of the Karbala martyrs is that one should not deviate from the path of righteousness, whatever be the price to be paid', he added.
The Governor hoped that the people would re-dedicate themselves to uphold and devote to the noble cause of truth and harmony. He prayed for the restoration of communal harmony and complete peace and normalcy in the State the people to be able to lead meaningful and productive lives, without fear of any kind.
