| No cut in age, PSC clarifies | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JAN 7: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (PSC) has clarified that the age limits for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), 2009 has not been changed or modified. According to a communication received from the PSC, the upper age limit prescribed for CCE, 2009 has been fixed at 35 years for General (Open) Category candidates and 40 years for Reserved/In-Service Category candidates, as on January 1, 2008, in terms of notification issued by the Government vide SRO No: 397 dated 30.12.2008. The communication further states that in the previous Combined Competitive Examinations held in the year 2005, the age limits for both General and Reserved Categories had also been fixed at 35 and 40 years, respectively.
