JAMMU JAN: 8: Glowing tributes were paid in msemory of Late. R.K. Bharti on his first death anniversary by the members of Adbi Kunj here today.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the contribution of late Bharti in the field of Journalism and literature.
Sham Talib president of kunj while paying tributes said, Bharti played a significant role in various activities of Adbi Kunj and his selfless service in promoting literary activities in the state, beside his helpful nature towards all.
On the occasion Kunj organizes short story and poetic session in which writers present on the occasion, rendered their latest poems and short stories.
Among others present on the occasion were Santosh Nadaan, Talib Kashmiri, Susheel Begaana, Nargis Sitara, Rakesh Tripal, Rakesh Sarkar, Rajeshwar, Ramesh Diwana, A.R. Ghamkhar, Nirmal Bhardwaj, M.S. Kamar, J.S. Rissam, Rajiv Kumar, Babli Zutshi and Jaswant Singh.
Organization also congratulated Rafeeq Masoodi former Secretary JKAACL on receiving life time achievement award for the year 2008 by the Indian international friendship society.
